Supporting AA Courses & Pedagogy

The Skilling Laboratory supports the Aeronautics & Astronautics department at Stanford University. We support pedagogy and advance understanding of teaching & learning embedded within the Aeronautics & Astronautics department, supplying space & opportunity to embed practical learning into courses to help advance the Aeronautics & Astronautics department mission - the education of future aerospace engineering leaders & aerospace research with societal impact.

 

The Skilling Laboratory can provide support for project-based classes, including:

  • Support to develop practical learning activities
  • Practical demonstrations of a variety of engineering concepts
  • In-course project support including tools, equipment, & resources 

 

Course Scheduling & Support

Each term Instructors allocated course support in the Skilling Laboratory will be contacted to organize scheduling, equipment use, and safety training for instructional staff and students.
